Indiatourism Mumbai office conducted an online workshop for the UTEN subscribers

Indiatourism Mumbai, the Regional office of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, yesterday conducted an online workshop on the procedures for Recognition of Tourism Service Providers by Ministry of Tourism for the subscribers of UTEN LLP. Venkatesan Dhattareyan, Regional Director, West & Central Region, MoT, GOI, gave a presentation highlighting the potential of domestic tourism before a well attended gathering.

This presentation was attended by over 100 UTEN subscribers . During the presentation Dhattareyan explained the entire process of applying for recognition of Service Providers and also the benefits which are available to the recognized tour operators.

During this session Indiatourism Mumbai also highlighted the importance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the potential to promote the Azadi Trails i.e. places associated with India’s Freedom Movement and also visit to Monuments of national Importance and the Border Tourism concept. The members were also introduced to the Incredible India Tourist Facilitator (IITF) Certification Programme and encouraged to enroll and benefit from it.
