Ginger signs a 59-key hotel in Udaipur

Ginger announced the signing of a new hotel in the City of Lakes, Udaipur. The hotel will be designed around the brand’s lean luxe design and service philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary, and seamless hospitality experience to its guests.

Commenting on the signing, Deepika Rao, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Ginger Hotels, said, “Udaipur in addition to being an important tourist destination, has also increasing business potential. This encouraged us to sign a second hotel in the city. We are delighted to partner with Sanctity Developers and the Joshi family for this project.”

Ginger Udaipur is located at RK Circle, a short distance from the commercial centres of the city as well as popular tourist spots such as Panchwati, Sahelion ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake and Monsoon Palace. The 59-key hotel will feature Ginger’s signature new design rooms, Café Etcetera – the all-day diner, and a meeting room. The project is a fully fitted lease slated to open by April 2023.

The beautiful city of Udaipur is known for lakes as well as historic palaces and forts. This city was once the capital of Mewar and has a rich cultural heritage with museums, art galleries and traditional fairs.

With the addition of this hotel, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) will have five hotels in Udaipur, including two under development.
