The Tourism India Alliance (TIA) has signed an MOU with Amity University Uttar Pradesh to become its Exclusive Trade Partner for organising the Tourism & Travel Expo, a key feature of the upcoming International Conference on “Bridging the Gaps in Tourism Knowledge and Practice.” The event will take place from February 7-9, 2025, at Amity University Uttar Pradesh.
Jointly organised by Amity University and the International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA), the conference will focus on sustainable development, regenerative tourism, digital ecosystems, and green investments. The Tourism & Travel Expo, curated by TIA, is expected to attract an audience of 50,000 visitors and over 1,000 delegates from India and abroad.
Mukesh Jain, Executive Vice President, TIA, emphasised the expo’s significance, stating, “This is a valuable opportunity for our members to showcase Incredible India and access a growing market.” The expo will highlight the best offerings from India’s tourism industry.
Puneet Saxena, Vice President (Education) of TIA, highlighted the partnership’s impact on global academic connections, adding, “Education is essential for building the robust human resources needed to grow the tourism and hospitality sectors.”
