Brazil’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Mauro Vieira, recently visited India to co-chair the 9th India-Brazil Joint Commission Meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar. During this significant diplomatic event, Embraer actively participated in sideline meetings.
Frederico Lemos, Chief Commercial Officer, Embraer Defense & Security, highlighted the company’s long-standing presence in India, with aircraft and solutions spanning defense, commercial aviation, and executive jets.
Lemos emphasised that the C-390 Millennium is an ideal fit for the Indian Air Force’s Medium Transport Aircraft (MTA) program. He also expressed optimism about leveraging the growing ties between Brazil and India to strengthen collaboration in the defense and aerospace sectors of both nations.
