Akasa Air, a low-cost airline headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has launched its Pay Day sale, offering customers up to 20% discount on flight fares. The offer is valid from June 28 to July 1, 2024, for travel between July 5 and September 30, 2024, excluding blackout periods from August 15 to August 19 and September 4 to September 7.
Customers can avail the discount on ‘Saver’ and ‘Flexi’ ticket prices by using the promo code ‘PAYDAY’ when booking through Akasa Air’s official website (www.akasaair.com), mobile app, or a travel agent. The offer is applicable to the “adult” and “child” categories of passengers and is not valid for special fare categories, including armed forces, medical professionals, students, and senior citizens.
The discount is not applicable to any other charges, such as meal charges, excess baggage charges, airport/other charges, and government taxes. The offer is non-transferable and cannot be clubbed with other offers or used for group bookings.
Akasa Air, founded by Vinay Dube and Aditya Ghosh with an investment by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (who holds a 46% stake), commenced operations in August 2022. The airline plans to expand its international operations by introducing direct flights from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi starting July 11, 2024, making Abu Dhabi its fourth international destination.
