One Faber Group to introduce new activities and offers as part of the 45th anniversary of Singapore Cable Car

One Faber Group, the commercial entity under Sentosa Development Corporation will be introducing new products and attractive offers as part of the 45th anniversary celebrations of popular Singapore Cable Car operations. 

Starting from March 29, 2019, the company will start a new show – Projection Mapping Light Show – at the Arbora Restaurant in the Hill top Garden Area.  Besides that, the Group will introduce a new passport activity programme for visitors. An activity-based programme, visitors participating in the programme will be offered various discounts at attractions at the island. 

Singapore Cable Car  is the most popular attraction which ‘acts as a connector’ for all attractions in Sentosa Island.  “We have four generations of operation and it is a nice opportunity to take back memories,” said Tracy Lul, Assistant Director, Marketing & Communications, One Faber Group. 

She said that the day to night itinerary which commences at the Faber Peak and ending with the night show at the Sentosa is quite popular with Indian visitors, she added. “Singapore Cable car give a seamless experience and offers wonderful views of the harbour front and the Resort World Sentosa. One can also use the Sentosa line and go to the Merlion.  It is the only Merlion in Singapore where visitors can enter inside it, go to the top and take photographs,” Lul added.

Starting from April this year, Sentosa island will also have three new hotels opening inside to cater to all categories and budgets. These hotels – The Village, The Outpost and The Barracks – together will add 800 rooms, she said.  “We will also be able to offer our attractions bundled with rooms in these three hotels from April,” she said.

“The purpose of our visit is to tell the trade here that the Singapore Cable Car has been there for the last 45 years.  Being our 45th anniversary this year, we will have more activities and events happening,” said Patrick Lee, Director – Sales & Business Development.  He said that there has been a surge in young visitors to Sentosa and therefore it has been the Group’s endeavour to ‘customise programs to make them relevant’ to young visitors.
