Eyeing to expand it e-commerce business in new markets, UAE-based Online Travel Agent (OTA), has plans to launch its online vertical in Qatar in the coming months along with other GCC countries. The last expansion took place in Saudi Arabia in December 2016. The company considers India and GCC as potential markets and is simultaneously also working on future expansion in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, informed Giya Diwaan, Country Head-India, while speaking to TravelBiz Monitor.

As of now, provides visa facilitation service for 42 countries for Indian travellers. By March next year, it is hopeful of assisting visitors to 100 countries in total. The overall expansion plans will comprise venturing into new markets, technological development and additional staffing. has been undergoing internal changes in strategies which is why the brand had been maintaining a low-profile until now. Diwaan feels that now when they are done with the ground work, it is the best time to be more vocal on developments.
“The Indian travel market is gradually maturing and the business is moving to the online channels. Targeting the future business coming from these channels, we are working on creating hybrid models along with offline agents. On the visa assistance front, we majorly plan to expand offline agent base by October this year. also sees bright future in the flight and hotel booking space,” she said.
