On the TripXOXO webpage, travellers get in-depth information about the activities available at the destination along with special offers, if any. Travellers can also book the airport transfer services and hire local tour guides through the portal. Apart from this, the portal also provides options of dining deals in more than 900 cities across the world, real time tickets to over 300 monuments, and almost 5,000 tours costing less than USD 10 and more than 150 free tours. Free tours like the Royal London Free Tour, Prague Free Tour are also available on the list. From Burj Khalifa, Dubai to Eifel Tower, Paris, the list of monumental and exclusive heritage tours ranges to 300 locations for which the entry, if chargeable, can be paid through the TripXOXO website in INR. Also the site offers interesting experiences in India. The portal provides its customers with the benefit of booking tickets for any amusements or attractions on real time basis.
Talking about the market strategy of the digital platform Akhtar elaborated, “We are looking at a B2C and B2B model. We believe in growing with partnerships and are in discussions with online and offline
wholesalers and big travel companies for powering the activities section. The site is also welcoming travel agents who wish to be partners. One important element is supplier partnership. We are in talks with small and medium size service providers who are keen to distribute their products across India and also internationally. Alongside, we provide free technology to promising supplier partners to automate their business operations and inventory distribution and also taking their product global.”
TripXOXO is looking at offering 35,000 activities and experiences in the next three months to the Indian traveller. “We are also reaching out to B2C clients through digital, print and outdoor campaigns which will be rolled out in the next quarter. We are even partnering with airlines, tourism boards, online travel agencies, partner travel agents and other online agencies. We also plan to launch TripXOXO in the UAE by 2017,” added Akhtar.
