Jacqueline Fernandez visits Sri Lanka under Cinnamon’s ‘Bring a Friend Home’ campaign


Bollywood actor and former Miss Sri Lanka, Jacqueline Fernandez visited Sri Lanka as the first guest under Cinnamon’s ‘Bring a Friend Home’ (BAFH) campaign. This initiative by Cinnamon is to encourage Sri Lankans living overseas as well as expats in the country to nominate their foreign friends to visit the island nation. Hence, the hotel chain hosted Jacqueline from August 10 to 14, and created unique experiences for her in the country.



Norwegian Encore emerges for the first time from ship building dock


Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that its latest ship, Norwegian Encore, successfully completed a major construction milestone, when it emerged for the first time from the Meyer Werft ship building dock in Papenburg, Germany. Norwegian Encore will remain in the shipyard port for the final phase of construction, before her journey up the Ems River and towards the North Sea at the end of September.



Shoes on Loose activates #Save Ladakh campaign in collaboration with Ladakh Ecological Development Group & Ultimate Frontier Outlands


The initiative to #Save Ladakh campaign started with the on-set of Ladakh season. The event was organised to support the cause of saving Ladakh and to bring #freedomfromplastic. Shoes on Loose organised a clean-up drive at old Leh Town in collaboration with Ladakh Ecological Development Group and Ultimate Frontier Outlands promoting the idea of Recycle, Reuse and Reduce the use of plastic bottles. This activity aimed at helping to preserve the beauty of Leh and at the same time to create awareness about sustainable tourism.



ETAA partners with Rajasthan Routes Trails to organise Educational Fam Trip for its members


Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) jointly with Rajasthan Routes Trails organised an Educational Fam Trip for its members to Rajasthan. The trip was hosted by Rajasthan Routes Trails and had 25 participants from cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Satara, and Nagpur. This is the second year in a row that ETAA and Rajasthan Routes Trails Pvt Ltd collaborated for Educational tour across the state.
