The North India Chapter of Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) will be organising a series of monthly knowledge sessions for its members starting this month to educate them and make them aware about the latest developments in the travel and tourism industry, said newly elected Chairperson of the Chapter, Sangeeta Manocha. She added that the Chapter has already drawn the list of knowledge sessions up till March 2019.

Commenting further, Manocha said that these sessions will not be limited only to the Delhi-NCR and Chapter, but will travel around destinations in North India like Jaipur, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.

Moreover, the North India Chapter of ETAA is actively working towards adding new members and is expected to reach a count of 225 by the end of 2018 as compared to 189 at present.

The board of members of ETAA headed by its President Jagat Mehta last month appointed the new Managing Committee for its North India Chapter where Manocha (who is also the Director, National Board, ETAA) was elected as the Chairperson of the Chapter. Among other appointments for the North India Chapter, Naveen Manchanda was chosen the General Secretary, Kanwarjit Singh Sawhney as the Treasurer, Manuj Rajput and Saurabh Tuteja as the Joint Secretary, Arush Mittal as the Head – Alliances while Gaurav Arora was chosen as Head – Events.

Manocha expressed that newly elected team of ETAA North India Chapter is committed towards enhancing the knowledge of its members and will try to provide every possible connection to its members through which they can expand and grow their business. The Chapter also proposes to host familiarisation and educational tours for other Chapters of the Association.
