Server glitches hit IndiGo flights at Hyderabad airport

According to a report in The Deccan Chronicle, delays due to server issues affected IndiGo Airlines flights for 90 minutes yesterday morning at Hyderabad airport. Apart from that, the fog in Delhi also caused a delay of 20 minutes. The flight delays of IndiGo Airlines had a cascading effect and although the server issues were sorted out by afternoon flights continued to be late. The airline on its part communicated to all its passengers and also gave a statement on the reason for the delay.

Due to the fog in Delhi the Air India flight (AI 839) which was to land in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at 11:30 pm on Sunday, reached the city only at 04:10 am on Monday. “The fog in the national capital has delayed take-off of most flights. That is why they are landing late,” said a spokesperson of Air India. Overall, close to ten Delhi- Hyderabad flights were delayed.
