The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has introduced its iconic brand, Taj to Alwar in Rajasthan. This will be the 12th IHCL branded hotel in the state.
Commenting on the signing of this agreement, Puneet Chhatwal, MD & CEO, IHCL said “IHCL has a special relationship with the state of Rajasthan since 1970 when it started managing the landmark Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur and put Rajasthan on the global tourist map. With the addition of this Taj branded hotel, the Company opens up a new tourism circuit as the Alwar district is conveniently located with close proximity to New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
