Hotel Raphael Paris targets high-end Indian visitors

Hotel Raphael Paris, part of the Les Hôtels Baverez and the Leading Hotels of the World network (LHW), is increasing its focus in the Indian market to tap high-end travellers. Véronique Beauvais-Valcke, Director Général, Les Hôtels Baverez recently announced that they are inviting representatives from the Indian entertainment industry to their property in order to increase its mindshare among the Indian travellers.

During an interaction with TravelBiz Monitor, Valcke said, “We are targeting the Indian entertainment industry in order to generate interest about our hotels among Indian travellers. We have Indian fashion brands and stars shootings in our hotels such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The trust of Indian fashion brands is a proof of our quality for Indian travellers”.

Valcke was in India in order to create links and relationship between the hotels and the Indian market. She commented on the hotel’s B2B trade building exercise by saying, “I want the travel agencies to feel confident that our hotels are the best choice for high-end Indian travellers.”

Although Indian travellers contribute just 1.6% of guests to Hotel Raphael, Valcke feels that the USPs of the property can be great pulling factors for more Indian travellers in the future. She says, “Raphaël Hotel offers a unique and truly authentic French atmosphere, a location in the most exclusive part of Paris, and a 360-degree panoramic rooftop with exclusive views of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and Sacré Coeur.”

She shared her insights by saying, “We have seen in the past that Indian clients appreciate the French authenticity of our hotels when choosing a deluxe hotel for their travels to Paris which is the city of love. I come to India in order to promote those USPs as I believe the Indian market has a strong potential for our hotels”.
