7Vachan launches ultimate package for tourism & hospitality industry

At a time when the industry is facing an uncertain future, Mumbai-based destination wedding aggregator, 7Vachan Global has come out with one time flash deal for luxury properties spread over the 6 countries -India, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Maldives, Thailand, and Bahrain.

Apart from business, this flash deal, according to Minnat Lalpuria, Founding Director, 7Vachan Global, also addresses the pressing need to save tourism and hospitality jobs with the pandemic having a catastrophic impact. "The pandemic has shattered both the hospitality and tourism industry. Travel agents do not have enough exciting deals to sell with hotels offering direct deals to consumers, and there are hardly any guests checking in into hotels. Everyone is struggling with operational liquidity. So, we wanted to use our existing relationships with hotels which will benefit all of us mutually."

Talking about the uniqueness of the deal, she said that it is valid for one year until October 31, 2021. "Not only that, there is an option of guest name change which otherwise is not allowed in any hotel," Lalpuria pointed out.

"One can purchase the package in anyone's name which includes the name of agents and update the actual guest's name during the time of redemption. Even if a guest is not using all the features included in the package, there is liberty to merge it with other options," she explained.

Lalpuria strongly believes that every region has at least 100 key clients comprising FITs, and leisure travellers who don’t mind to spend on travel even at this point of time.

"Instead of reaching out to consumers directly, we made it purely B2B because hotels are already doing B2C campaign. So, we came out with a campaign which gives the best price in the market and there is enough room for margin. Hotels are moving away from static pricing, but here with these deals you get to cover 2-3 seasons and hence make high margins. Agents can directly pre-purchase from us or sell to their clients today at any margin. One only needs to use the convincing power to block these deals. These are really the best deals in the market right now," says a confident Lalpuria.

She is quite optimistic that the deals will garner good response from the market. "I think agents, currently facing liquidity issue will definitely pre-purchase the room nights and wait for the market to recuperate, and then sell at a much higher margin. Anyway, the pricing is 20 to 55 per cent lower. Hence, it offers the avenues to the travel and hospitality industry to make money, and at the same time save jobs of their employees," she explained.

Through this deal, they are targeting different segments like FIT, honeymooners, corporates clients, leisure travellers, etc. Geographically, we have over 30 hotels representing 15 brands in 6 countries offering 60+ deals, in more than 25 cities. "All rates are inclusive of all the taxes applicable in that country. There is absolutely no hidden cost," clarifies Lalpuria.

These deals are being sold across Asia, UK and the Middle East. "The idea is to fill as many as room nights as possible," concludes Lalpuria.
