Bird Group to host IATA Global Training Partners Conference in Delhi from April 10 to 13

Bird Group and its aviation training and education arm, Bird Academy will host the IATA Global Training Partners Conference (GTPC) in Delhi in April.  It is the first time GTPC is happening in India. The conference will be held at Roseate House at Aerocity New Delhi between April 10 and 13. According to Radha Bhatia, Chairperson of Bird Group, IATA trainers from across the globe will participate and brainstorm on the latest trends in training and ways to enhance the competencies of the workforce. “More than 250 trainers have already been registered for the conference,” she said.

The agenda of the conference will revolve around the latest IATA Human Resources report and discuss ways to reduce the skill gap in the aviation industry.

“Bird Academy is a premier training institution and training partner for IATA in India. We work closely with IATA.  Established 20 years ago, Bird Academy is the top IATA ATC and ATS for the last 10 years,” Bhatia said.

Bhatia said that Indian aviation sector is poised for good growth in the coming years riding on the back of favourable policies of the government.  “Our population is a big boon, the demand will keep on growing because of that,” she said.

Bird Academy has come up with a job catalogue for the first time for the aviation sector with the support of KPMG to sensitise people, especially women, about the job opportunities in the sector.
