ST Tours and Travel, a Mumbai-based tour operating brand has started promoting tourist destinations in Maharashtra aggressively. Going forward, the company is planning to attract inbound tourists to the state and has curated newer itineraries for the same. These include tours to Ashtavinayaka Yatra and destinations such as Shirdi, Mahabaleshwar, Matheran, Bhandardara, Nashik, Lonavla and Khandala.
Sachin Rajaram Tigote, Director, ST Tours and Travel, said, “The business has been better compared to the previous year with majority domestic travel business to Kerala and Goa. In Maharashtra, weekend travel to nearby resorts has picked up strongly. On the inbound front, we plan to reach out to more tourists through both B2B and B2C channels.”
The company has been an ETAA member for over one year and has made good contacts in the industry.
