SpiceJet is set to expand its domestic network further by launching eight new routes on November 15, 2024. The airline will introduce flights from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, as well as from Ahmedabad to Pune. This addition follows the recent October expansion of 32 new routes, which included international flights from Delhi to Phuket.
Additionally, SpiceJet’s network growth includes new UDAN flights initiated in October, connecting Shivamogga in Karnataka with Chennai and Hyderabad. The airline also introduced double daily flights between Chennai and Kochi, enhancing connectivity within regional and major urban centers.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet, expressed excitement about the new routes, highlighting their importance in meeting passenger demand across tier-II cities and supporting SpiceJet’s commitment to convenient, affordable travel. The new flights are part of a broader winter schedule that integrates both domestic and international destinations.
SpiceJet will operate these routes using its 78-seater Q400 aircraft. Tickets for the new routes are now available on SpiceJet’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents and online travel platforms.
